Empire Cuts: top of Google for “barber Taigum”, with three Brisbane shops
Empire Cuts is a walk-in barbershop with locations in Taigum, Moggill and Logan Reserve in Brisbane, doing skin fades, beard sculpting and hot towel shaves with no appointment needed. When we searched “barber Taigum” on 14 October 2026, Empire Cuts was first in the map pack, with a 4.8 rating from 149 reviews, and first in the organic results. The challenge for a multi-location shop is to do the same in every suburb.
Barbers are found in the map, one suburb at a time
People pick a barber within a short drive and often on the day, especially a walk-in shop. They search “barber” plus their suburb, or “barber near me”, and choose from the map. That makes each location its own local search, with its own competitors.
In Taigum, the results showed exactly that: Empire Cuts led the pack ahead of one other hair salon, and the organic results held the Empire Cuts site, its listing on the Taigum Square shopping centre site, its Instagram, a Fresha page and Yellow Pages.
What we built into the site
- A page for each shop: Taigum, Moggill and Logan Reserve, plus a locations page, so each suburb search has a page about that shop.
- A clear walk-in message in the description, “No appointment needed”, which is a deciding factor for many barbershop customers.
- Structured data with the Taigum address on Beams Road and Brisbane as the area served, and the aggregate rating shown on the site.
- An FAQ section for the questions people ask before walking in.
What moves the needle next
- Repeat Taigum at Moggill and Logan Reserve. Each location needs its own verified Google profile, its own reviews and photos from that shop.
- Each location’s page should carry that shop’s own details: address, hours, parking and nearby landmarks, so Google can tell the three apart.
- Ask for reviews at each chair. Taigum’s 149 reviews are the model; the newer shops need the same habit. See our Google review system.
Empire Cuts is one of the businesses on our Brisbane and Queensland page.
Frequently asked questions
Does a multi-location barbershop need a page for each shop?
Yes. Each location competes in its own suburb’s search, and Google needs a page and a profile for each one with that shop’s own address and details.
Do listings on shopping centre sites help?
They are a useful mention from a trusted local site, and they can rank themselves, as the Taigum Square page did. Keep the details on them accurate.
