NFC Google review cards your customers tap once

A card, plaque or stand that opens your Google review form when a customer taps it with their phone. Built by Bluepeek, managed from our dashboard and re-pointable without ever reprogramming the chip.

What is an NFC Google review card?

An NFC Google review card is a card or plaque with a small NFC chip inside. When a customer holds a compatible phone near it, the phone opens a link to the business's Google review page without an app or a search. A printed QR code on the same card covers phones without NFC.

How tap-to-review works

NFC Google review cards remove the hardest part of getting a review: finding the right place to leave it. Instead of telling a customer to search for your business and scroll to the review button, you hand them a card or point at the counter and they tap.

  1. The customer taps

They hold their phone near the card, plaque or stand. On most recent phones this works with the screen unlocked and no app open. If their phone has no NFC, they scan the printed QR code instead.

  2. A short link opens

The chip holds only a short link to a Bluepeek review page. It stores no customer data and nothing about the phone that tapped it.

  3. Your branded page loads

The page shows your business name and branding, so the customer knows they are in the right place, with one clear button to leave a Google review.

  4. Google review form opens

The button goes straight to the review form on your Google Business Profile. The customer picks the stars and writes the review themselves.

Every customer who taps gets that Google button, whatever their experience. We never ask for a star rating first and hide Google from people who score low. That practice, called review gating, breaks Google policy.

The three Bluepeek Reviews products

Bluepeek Reviews is our own tap-to-review range, sold at bluepeekreviews.com. Prices below were checked on 26 September 2026 and may change, so the store is the source of truth.

ProductPriceFormatBest for
Peek Card$39Wallet and business-card sizeTradies, detailers and mobile workers who finish jobs at the customer's place
Peek Wall Plaque$49Peel-and-stick, for a wall or counterReception walls, service counters and waiting areas
Peek Stand$59Free-standing counter displayFront counters and checkouts where customers pay

A single tap to review card suits a sole trader. A workshop with a front counter usually pairs a Peek Stand at the register with a few cards for staff who do handovers in the yard.

NFC vs QR: why each card has both

NFC is quicker when the card is in the customer's hand. QR works on older phones and from further away. Having both on the same card means nobody gets stuck. Our guide on NFC vs QR Google review cards goes deeper on when each one wins.

Where to put a Google review plaque or card

Placement matters more than design. The card has to be in front of the customer at the moment they are pleased with the result, and a staff member has to mention it.

  • At the counter or register, where customers stand while paying. A Peek Stand works well here.
  • In the invoice folder or key handover pouch, so it arrives with the paperwork.
  • In the van, clipped near the door, for trades who finish on site.
  • At reception, as a Google review plaque on the wall beside the desk.
  • With the tech after a job, a Peek Card in their pocket, shown to the customer while they walk them through the work.

Why re-pointable links matter

Many cheap review cards write your Google review URL straight onto the chip. If the link changes, the profile is re-verified or you move a card to a second location, the card is useless until someone reprograms it.

Bluepeek cards work differently. The chip only holds a short link to our review page, and the destination and branding are managed on our side. If anything changes, we update it in the dashboard and every card you own follows. The card never needs reprogramming.

What the dashboard tracks, and what it does not

The Bluepeek Reviews dashboard shows taps and clicks through to your Google review form, with period comparisons so you can see whether a new placement or staff habit changed anything. It also includes a private feedback inbox and CSV export.

What it does not do is count reviews posted. A click through to Google is not a review, because some customers open the form and never finish. We report clicks as clicks. Your actual review count lives on your Google Business Profile.

Honest limits of review cards

A card on a counter will not collect reviews on its own. Customers walk past displays every day. The businesses that get results from Google review cards in Australia are the ones where staff say something simple like "If you were happy with the job, a quick tap here helps us a lot." The card makes saying yes easy. It does not replace asking.

Cards also only catch customers in person. If people often pay later or leave before handover, pair the cards with a review link on invoices or an automated message after the job. That wider setup is what our Google review system and management service covers, alongside keeping your Google Business Profile accurate.

Who uses them

We are based in Molendinar, so plenty of the demand for Google review cards on the Gold Coast comes from local workshops and trades, but cards ship Australia-wide and the dashboard works from anywhere. Mobile businesses like those in our car detailers hub and tradies hub tend to use Peek Cards. Businesses with a front counter, like many in our mechanics hub, lean on stands and plaques.

Frequently asked questions

Do customers need an app to use an NFC review card?

No. On iPhone XS/XR and newer and on NFC-enabled Android phones, tapping the card opens the review page in the browser with no app. Phones without NFC can scan the printed QR code instead, which uses the normal camera app, so every customer has a way in whatever phone they carry.

Does the card count how many Google reviews I get?

No, and be wary of any product that says it can. The dashboard counts taps and clicks through to your Google review form. Clicks are not reviews, since some customers never finish. Check your review count on your Google Business Profile.

What happens if my Google review link changes?

Nothing changes on your end. The chip only stores a short link to a Bluepeek page, and we manage where that page sends people. We update the destination in the dashboard and every card you already have keeps working without reprogramming.

Can I use a card to send unhappy customers somewhere else?

No. Every customer who taps a Bluepeek card is offered the Google review link, whatever their experience. Filtering people by rating before they reach Google is review gating, which breaks Google policy. The private feedback inbox is an extra option, never a replacement.

How much do Bluepeek review cards cost?

At bluepeekreviews.com on 26 September 2026, the Peek Card was $39, the Peek Wall Plaque $49 and the Peek Stand $59. Check the store for current pricing before you order. Many businesses start with one card or stand, see how often it gets used, then add more for extra staff, vans or counters.

Will a review card get me reviews by itself?

Rarely. The card makes leaving a review fast, but someone still has to ask. Businesses that give staff a one-line script and hand the card over at the end of the job usually get more use from it than those that leave it on a counter.
