Rayan Tiling Services: a Gosnells tiler in the map pack against hipages and Airtasker

Rayan Tiling Services is a Perth tiler with more than 25 years’ experience, according to its site, doing bathrooms, floors, walls, splashbacks and wet-area waterproofing, based in Gosnells in the south-east. When we searched “tiler Gosnells” on 14 October 2026, it was second in the map pack and fourth in the organic results, and its site had taken 16 form enquiries since June.

Competing with the lead marketplaces

Search a trade in a Perth suburb and you will often see hipages and Airtasker near the top. Both sell leads to many tradies at once. A tiler who ranks directly gets the enquiry for themselves, without competing against five quotes from the same marketplace.

For “tiler Gosnells”, hipages was first and Airtasker third, with a tiling business second, rayantilingservices.com.au fourth and another tiler fifth.

What Google showed on 14 October 2026

The map pack was a Maddington tiler with 5.0 from 11 reviews, then Rayan Tiling Services with 5.0 from 6 reviews, then another Maddington tiler with 99 reviews. Review counts are low across this pack, which makes it one where steady reviews quickly change the order.

What we built into the site

Nine service pages: bathroom, floor, wall, kitchen splashback, outdoor, commercial, stone and mosaic tiling, plus waterproofing.
Suburb pages for Gosnells, Seville Grove, Armadale and Canning Vale, the south-east suburbs the business works in.
Before and after work and a portfolio, which tiling customers look at before anything else.
Experience and insurance in the description, and free written quotes as the call to action.

Results so far

16 enquiries came through the website’s forms between 16 June and 14 October 2026, not counting phone calls.

What moves the needle next

Reviews. Moving from 6 reviews to 20 would likely make Rayan the strongest profile in this pack. See our Google review system.
Bathroom renovation content. Bathrooms are the highest value tiling job; a page showing full bathroom projects in the south-east suburbs targets the most valuable searches.
Waterproofing information, which buyers worry about and search for separately.

Rayan is one of the Perth businesses on our website design Perth page.

Frequently asked questions

Should a tiler use hipages or their own website?

Marketplaces can fill gaps, but leads are shared. Ranking your own site and profile means the enquiry comes only to you.

Does showing years of experience help in search?

It helps people choose between results, and it is a fact Google and AI search tools can quote when it appears consistently on the site.
