Rodano Flowers: a wholesale florist ranking first in Wattleup

Two businesses, two searches

Rodano serves two very different buyers. Retail businesses that stock flowers search for wholesale supply and a reliable supplier. The public searches for a florist nearby, flower delivery or a funeral tribute. The site leads with the wholesale side, under “Wholesale Flowers, Beautifully Curated” and “Curated for Every Retail Shelf”, while the description and a section about the shop catch the public.

A friendly touch on the site, “When the flags are out, we’re open”, tells passing customers how to know the shop is trading, which suits a roadside location on Wattleup Road.

What Google showed on 14 October 2026

The map pack showed Rodano Flowers & Gifts first with 5.0 from 8 reviews, and one other florist with 4.1 from 90 reviews. The organic results were rodanoflowers.com.au first, then a Spearwood florist’s Wattleup delivery page, a national flower delivery company, another florist and Yellow Pages. Delivery companies build suburb pages for every suburb, so a real local shop ranking above them is a good sign.

What the site does

• A title that covers both sides: “Rodano Flowers | Florist & Wholesale Flowers, Wattleup.”
• The street address in the description, which matters for a shop people drive to.
• Structured data naming Wattleup, Cockburn, Kwinana and Perth as the areas served.
• Stockist testimonials and an FAQ for retail buyers deciding on a supplier.

What moves the needle next

• A separate page for wholesale and one for the public shop, so each buyer lands on the right story and each can rank for its own searches.
• More reviews. 8 reviews already top the pack; more protect that place. See our Google review system.
• Funeral and sympathy flowers, a search with high intent where a local florist with a shop is often preferred over a delivery website.
