Textured Barber Lounge: 282 website bookings and first on Google in Beeliar
Textured Barber Lounge is a barbershop in Beeliar Village, in the City of Cockburn south of Fremantle, doing skin fades, textured crops, beard grooming, kids cuts and men’s haircuts. When we searched “barber Beeliar” on 14 October 2026, it was first in the map pack with a 5.0 rating and first in the organic results, with a second page of its site also on page one. Between 26 June and 14 October 2026 its website took 282 enquiries and booking requests, the most of any site we have built.
How people choose a barber in Cockburn
Barber customers choose quickly and locally. They search “barber” and their suburb, or “skin fade near me”, look at the map, check photos and reviews, and book or walk in, often the same day. Once they like a barber, they come back every few weeks. Winning a customer once is worth many visits.
Beeliar is part of a cluster of growing family suburbs, with Yangebup, Atwell, Success, Hammond Park, Spearwood and Bibra Lake all close by. Many people in those suburbs are only a few minutes from Beeliar Village, which makes them part of the shop’s real market.
What Google showed on 14 October 2026
The map pack for “barber Beeliar” showed Textured Barber Lounge first with 5.0 from 44 reviews, ahead of another Beeliar barber with 5.0 from 190 reviews and more than seven years in business, and a third barber with 20 reviews. Leading a pack against a competitor with four times the reviews shows how strongly relevance and the website support the profile.
The organic results were texturedbarberlounge.com.au first, a Fresha page of barbers in Beeliar, a competitor’s Facebook page, a second Textured page (its Beeliar barber page) and the Beeliar Village shopping centre’s listing for Textured. That is three of the top five results pointing at one shop.
What we built into the site
- A title and heading that match the search exactly: “Barber Beeliar | Skin Fades & Men’s Haircuts | Textured” and “Barber in Beeliar for Skin Fades and Modern Men’s Haircuts.”
- Suburb pages for the surrounding catchment: Beeliar, Yangebup, Cockburn, Success, Atwell, Hammond Park, Spearwood and Bibra Lake, each written for people in that suburb.
- Services and prices on the page, so a customer can decide without calling.
- A booking request in the description and on the page, and a gallery headed “Fresh from the chair”.
- A link to the Google reviews, under “Read our Google reviews”, which sends happy customers straight to the profile that ranks the shop.
- Guides on skin fades in Cockburn, men’s haircut trends in Perth and how often to get a fade, which answer real questions customers search.
Results so far
282 enquiries and booking requests came through the website’s forms between 26 June and 14 October 2026, with spam and test entries removed. Weekly numbers grew from 5 in the first week to between 20 and 29 a week through September and October. That count does not include walk-ins, phone calls or bookings made in the shop.
What made the difference
- The website and the profile tell the same story: same name, same suburb, same services, linked both ways.
- Every nearby suburb has a page, so searches from Yangebup or Atwell have a relevant answer.
- Booking is the main action, everywhere. A barber site that asks people to call during a haircut loses bookings.
- A local mention that ranks: the Beeliar Village listing adds a trusted local source pointing at the shop.
What moves the needle next
- Keep the reviews coming. The competitor in second has 190 reviews; holding first means steadily growing from 44. See our Google review system.
- Rank the suburb pages in their own map packs. The next gains are “barber Atwell”, “barber Success” and “barber Spearwood”, where the shop is close enough to compete.
- More guides customers search, such as kids’ first haircuts and beard care, which build trust and bring new searches.

Frequently asked questions
How does a barber rank first in Google Maps?
A complete Google profile with the right category, a site whose title and pages match the suburb and services, regular reviews and photos, and the same name, address and phone everywhere.
Should a barbershop take bookings through its website?
Yes. Many customers book on their phone outside opening hours. A booking request on the site captures them; Textured’s 282 enquiries since June show how many there are.
Are suburb pages for nearby suburbs worth it for a barber?
For suburbs a few minutes away, yes. Each gives Google a relevant page for searches from that suburb and helps the shop appear beyond its own postcode.
